Adele Adds To Her Collection

Adele will surely remember this in years to come. She can never be royal, but she can get a medal from one. The Grammy/Oscar/Golden
Globe-winning singer added another shiny thing to her collection Thursday (December 19) when she was presented with an MBE medal by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace. MBE stands for Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, and Adele — along with P.J. Harvey — received the honor on Thursday (December 19) for "services to music." It was created in 1917 by King George V."It was an honour to be recognised and a very proud moment to be awarded alongside such wonderful and inspirational people," Adele said in a statement after the ceremony, according to People. "Very posh indeed."She also sported crown nail art in honor of the event. Thumbs up girl
